Edison Utility Has Days to Produce LA Fire Data on Four Circuits

Edison International Inc.‘s Southern California utility has until Friday to produce data from the four circuits closest to where the deadly Eaton fire started.

The utility also needs to produce power grid data for all circuits in Altadena and Eaton Canyon “as soon as it becomes reasonably available,” Judge Ashfaq G. Chowdhury ruled on Tuesday.

The California Superior Court, Los Angeles County judge ordered the utility to preserve all equipment in a roughly one square mile area near the fire’s origin, leaving it up to the parties to decide on the exact boundaries.
