Ecolab Hits Rival With Trademark Suit Over ‘CleanForce’ Spray

Ecolab USA Inc. says a competing cleaning product company has infringed its “clean force” trademark by selling an enzyme spray with that name, according to a new lawsuit.

Pro-Point Inc., which does business as Go Clean Chemical, sells a pre-spray cleaner called “CleanForce,” which violates the trademark Ecolab has held for at least two decades, the complaint alleges, filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the District of Nevada.

Go Clean Chemical didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
