Ecolab Gets Hospital Housekeeper’s OxyCide Injury Suit Tossed

An Oregon hospital housekeeper who alleged that Ecolab Inc.'s OxyCide disinfectant caused breathing difficulty and other health problems filed her lawsuit too late under governing Oregon law, a federal court in Minnesota said.

Kathleen Sigler sued Ecolab on June 16, 2020, nearly four years after her last alleged date of OxyCide exposure, Sept. 21, 2016, and almost two years after her home state’s statute of limitations for filing her suit had lapsed, the US District Court for the District of Minnesota said.
