Dua Lipa Sues Samsung for Using Her Image on TV Packaging (1)

Singer and songwriter Dua Lipa alleges Samsung Electronics America Inc. committed copyright and trademark infringement by using her image on cardboard television boxes.

Samsung used a copyrighted image of Lipa without authority or license, which dilutes the value of her intellectual property, and refused to comply with her repeated demands to stop it, she told the US District Court for the Central District of California in a May 8 complaint.
