DoorDash, Delivery Workers Agree to Settle Unpaid Wage Lawsuit

DoorDash Inc. and two delivery workers who say that the company failed to pay minimum and overtime wages reached a deal to resolve their wage-and-hour dispute after a federal judge sent the claims to arbitration.

The food delivery platform agreed to pay the two workers—who accused DoorDash of misclassifying them as independent contractors when they were really employees with greater wage protections—$1,000 total to end the case, according to settlement documents filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
