Donna Summer’s Estate Sues Kanye West for Copyright Infringement

Kanye West stole parts of Donna Summer’s hit song “I Feel Love” after her estate specifically denied their request to sample the song in the recent album “Vultures 1,” Summer’s estate alleged Tuesday in Los Angeles federal court.

The suit, which names both Kanye West and co-singer Ty Dolla Sign, is about more than licensing fees, lawyers for Brian Sudano, the executor of Summer’s estate, wrote in the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
