Dollar General Will Arbitrate Gay Man’s Bias, Retaliation Claims

A former Dolgencorp LLC employee will arbitrate claims that Dollar General discriminated based on his sexuality.

Brian Guimond said that his district manager made derogatory comments about his sexual orientation and tried to get him fired. His complaint in the US District Court for the Northern District of Florida said he was fired seven days after making an internal complaint with Dollar General’s employee relations center.
