A journalist’s bid to obtain documents relating to a FBI investigation into former President Donald Trump’s alleged Russia ties was rejected by a federal judge who cited “numerous problems” with his case.
John Solomon alleged the Biden administration wrongfully withheld Crossfire Hurricane documents that Trump declassified in the final days of his presidential term. Solomon, who Trump designated as one of his representatives for access to documents under the Presidential Records Act, claimed the Justice Department and National Archives had an obligation to provide him with the records.
