A physician and owner of an urgent care clinic has been sentenced to 52 months in prison for tax evasion, according to the Department of Justice Friday.
From 2007 to 2017, Melissa Rose Barrett, owner and operator of, Stat Care Clinics, L.L.C., owed approximately $1.6 million in taxes, which she took multiple steps to evade, the government said.
