Disney Gets Early Nod to Dismiss Kids’ YouTube Privacy Class

Private litigants suing Disney over its failure to properly designate kids YouTube videos have an uphill battle ahead after a federal judge indicated in a tentative ruling that they failed to sufficiently state privacy claims.

The plaintiffs may have to provide the court details about at least one Disney video they watched in order to state a claim. Judge George Wu said the plaintiffs indicated they might not be able to fulfill that ask and not providing this information would require dismissal.
