Disney Employee’s Claims Over Sexual Harassment Pattern Tossed

A Walt Disney Co. employee’s allegations that managers helped cover an executive’s pattern of sexual abuse were pruned by a Los Angeles state judge, who gave her a chance to amend and re-file her complaint.

California Superior Court, Los Angeles County Judge Anthony Mohr on Wednesday accepted Disney’s argument that the statute of limitations prevented the anonymous employee from filing four claims related to sexual harassment.

The plaintiff filed her suit under a 2022 California law that extended the statute of limitations for adult survivors of sexual assault whose claims a defendant had attempted to cover up.
