Disney ‘Dream Key’ Park Access Settlement Gets Initial Approval

Disney theme park patrons secured a federal judge’s tentative approval for a $9.5 million class settlement resolving allegations that the company deceived them into buying “Dream Key” passes supposedly granting them unrestricted admission.

The $1,399 passes were promoted as allowing a year of access to the Disneyland and California Adventure theme parks with no blackout dates, as long as the parks weren’t at capacity and reservations were available, according to the suit in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
