The US Department of Homeland Security will face a suit claiming immigration authorities are restricting access to counsel for detainees at an Arizona immigration facility.
The Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project’s second amended complaint sufficiently alleged facts supporting its standing to bring each of its claims, Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly of the US District Court for the District of Columbia said in a Monday order denying the government’s bid to toss the suit.
