DHS, ICE Must Pause Warrantless Arrests During Colorado Sweeps

The US Department of Homeland Security must temporarily pause its practice of making warrantless immigration-related arrests in Colorado, a district court ruled.

Four Colorado residents who say US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials unlawfully arrested them are likely to succeed on the merits of their claims under federal immigration laws and showed they faced irreparable harm, Judge R. Brooke Jackson of the US District Court for the District of Colorado said.
