DHL Settles Class Action Alleging Racial Bias in Hiring Policy

DHL Supply Chain settled with two Black job applicants after they brought a class action against the logistics company alleging its criminal history screening policy disproportionately denies employment to Black and Hispanic people.

The agreement, filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on Monday, awards $15,000 to each plaintiff as part of a total $2.7 million settlement fund for those impacted by the allegedly discriminatory hiring policy.
