A group of Washington-based DHL Express drivers wants a district court to approve their proposed $1 million settlement with a local courier, resolving a wages-and-hours lawsuit.
The agreement would dismiss the Fair Labor Standards Act collective action and require Sidwell Air Freight Inc., a local partner of DHL Express (USA) Inc., to compensate drivers in the collective for allegedly failing to pay overtime or provide proper breaks.
