The City of Denver must face charges that its police used excessive force against protesters of George Floyd’s killing, denied them free speech, and otherwise violated their constitutional rights, a federal judge said.
Denver isn’t entitled to summary judgment on all but one of the claims, “given the material factual disputes emanating from the paper trial the parties submitted,” said Judge S. Kato Crews of the US District Court for the District of Colorado.
