DFO LLC, the company that operates the Denny’s diner chain, says a South Dakota bar and casino called The Den is infringing one of its trademarks.
Denny’s says it owns and has been using a trademark for “The Den” for restaurant services for over a decade, according to the complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of South Dakota. The Sioux Falls bar opened in September 2023, about five miles away from a Denny’s location, according to the complaint.
