Delaware Chancery Court’s Glasscock Retiring at Year’s End (2)

One of the seven judges sitting on the Delaware Court of Chancery will retire at the end of the year, according to the chief justice of the state’s highest court.

Vice Chancellor Sam Glasscock III “has just announced his retirement,” said Chief Justice Collins J. Seitz Jr., presenting his judiciary budget recommendations to the state legislature’s Joint Finance Committee on Thursday.

“He’s tendered his resignation at the end of the year. I did want to recognize him for all his great service to the citizens of Delaware and the Court of Chancery,” Seitz said.
