A hiring startup that connects diverse job candidates with major companies unlawfully excludes White and Asian people from its services in violation of civil rights law according to a lawsuit by an anti-DEI legal group.
Edward Blum’s American Alliance for Equal Rights said Jopwell broke a law that prohibits racial discrimination in contracts by targeting its offerings to Black, Latinx, and Native American people exclusively, the complaint filed Tuesday in US District Court for the District of Delaware said.
