Defense Contractor’s Protest of $3 Billion in Awards Dismissed

A defense contractor that protested three Army contract awards to a competitor, totaling nearly $3 billion, failed to show the awards were improper, the Government Accountability Office said in a decision released Friday.

Sigmatech Inc. protested three task orders that were issued to Torch Technologies Inc. by Redstone Arsenal for the Army’s Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering & Integration directorate. The GAO found no basis to sustain the company’s protests.
