Dechert LLP was hit with a lawsuit by a former Wall Street Journal reporter who said the firm had a part in the unauthorized hacking of an aviation executive that led to the journalist being fired.
Jonathan Solomon says he was the chief foreign affairs correspondent for the Wall Street Journal, where he worked for almost 20 years before being terminated. His firing stemmed from Dechert and others working in concert to hack Solomon’s source, Farhad Azima, an Iranian-American aviation executive, the complaint says.
