DC Security Company Fails to Ditch EEOC’s Pregnancy Bias Suit

Security Assurance Management Inc. must face allegations that it discriminated and retaliated against a worker who requested accommodations due to her pregnancy.

None of the claims brought by the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission are duplicative, despite some being premised on the same underlying allegations, Judge Rudolph Contreras of the US District Court for the District of Columbia said in a Tuesday order denying Security Assurance’s bid to partially toss the suit.
