DC Circuit Pauses Judge’s Order to Rehire Voice of America Staff

The DC Circuit has temporarily stopped a federal judge’s order that the US Agency for Global Media and Voice of America rehire staffers and restore Voice of America broadcasts.

The US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit on Tuesday granted an emergency motion from the government agency to stay a March 17 order from Senior Judge Royce C. Lamberth of the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
