Dan Schneider’s ‘Quiet On Set’ Defamation Suit Survives Hurdle

TV producer Dan Schneider’s defamation lawsuit over “Quiet on Set"— a docu-series about child abuse on television shows he produced—survived an initial motion by Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. to strike the claims.

A Los Angeles judge said Friday in minute order that Schneider’s claims are strong enough to proceed. Schneider’s attorneys argue the show and its trailer implied Schneider was a child sexual abuser and that implication was strong enough to be defamatory.
