The Trump administration reached an agreement with the Daily Wire LLC, FDRLST Media LLC, and the state of Texas to resolve a lawsuit alleging the State Department under President Joe Biden promoted technology that censored American media outlets.
The State Department agreed to not “use electronic tools or technologies to knowingly or intentionally suppress, censor, demonetize, or downgrade the constitutionally protected speech of Americans or domestic media outlets,” according to a Wednesday consent decree filed to the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
