Cushman & Wakefield Ex-GC’s Defamation Claim Gets Doubtful Court

A Law.com article about the departure of Cushman & Wakefield’s general counsel was “sensationalism and clickbait, pure and simple,” an attorney for the ex-GC told appellate judges Thursday in an attempt to revive a defamation claim.

Brett Soloway sued over reporting that he said implied he was terminated from the real estate services firm due to his performance in contempt proceedings related to New York’s investigation of President Donald Trump’s properties.
