CSX Transportation Settles Disability Bias Claims From Ex-Worker

CSX Transportation Inc. and a former company utility worker have ended the employee’s discrimination lawsuit alleging that the railroad violated disability law when it demanded that he undergo repeated medical exams after he was reinstated.

Judge Aleta A. Trauger of the US District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee on Monday said she had been notified that the case has been settled, and she ordered that a stipulation of dismissal or other settlement document “shall be filed” within 20 days of her order.
