CSX, Transgender Worker Settle Gender Dysphoria, Sex Bias Case

CSX Transportation Inc. and a transgender woman who was terminated after urinating in a New York rail yard agreed to end her sex and gender dysphoria discrimination lawsuit, court records show.

The US District Court for the Western District of New York ordered the case dismissed “as settled, without costs, and on the merits,” pending a 30-day period during which the parties were directed “to file a stipulation of dismissal or other appropriate document.” That came eight days after the parties filed a mediation certification on July 4 reporting that they reached a settlement with the assistance of a mediator. ...
