Crypto Exchange Builders Settle Suit Over Failed Collaboration

Crypto industry rivals CardStarter Ltd. and SundaeSwap Inc. have settled claims against each other after their joint effort to establish a digital asset exchange fell apart, a federal court said.

CardStarter alleged that SundaeSwap had reneged on a handshake deal to trade crytocurrency tokens for other assets—a deal that SundaeSwap said didn’t exist.

The companies informed the US District Court for the Northern District of California that a settlement was in place, Judge Richard Seeborg said in an order Feb. 2.
