Crowley Holdings Inc. and other major shipping companies can intervene — for the purpose of opposing a motion to vacate — in a lawsuit seeking to recover damages and interest for trafficking in property confiscated by the Cuban government.
The US District Court for the Southern District of Florida granted Crowley, a non-party to the lawsuit, permissive intervention, concluding that it will not “unduly delay or prejudice the adjudication of the original parties’ rights.”
