The Illinois Supreme Court on Monday made permanent some rules that had been adopted temporarily to govern the Illinois court system, including allowing certain court proceedings to be held remotely.
The decision by the Illinois high court coincides with Gov. JB Pritzker’s declaration that the state’s Covid-19 public health emergency will end on May 11.
