The Delaware Supreme Court has affirmed a ruling against Court Square Capital Management LP over carried interest payments.
The two-page order issued Friday and signed by Justice Abigail M. LeGrow didn’t elaborate on the high court’s decision to uphold the Chancery Court ruling from last December. Chancellor Kathaleen St. Jude McCormick had rejected Court Square’s claims that former executive Kevin Brown violated a noncompete agreement and forfeited $5 million in carried interest.
