Marvin Toledo sued Delta in 2022, asserting the company required workers to go through security checks before clocking in, work after their shifts ended, and provided inadequate meal breaks without compensation. Toledo and Delta requested early approval of the $12 million settlement in November, but Judge Araceli Martínez-Olguín of the US District Court for the Northern District of California denied the motion on May 2 due to “glaring shortcomings.”
