Employees of United Airlines Inc. who challenged the airline’s Covid-19 vaccination policy and mask mandate were unsuccessful in their bid to revive their lawsuit, a federal appeals court said.
The employees’ claims were “either improperly preserved or inadequately pled,” Judge Doris L. Pryor, of the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, wrote. The lower court also correctly denied the workers another chance to file a proposed amended complaint, the court said, because they didn’t demonstrate how they would cure the complaint’s deficiencies.
