Court Nixes America First Legal Arizona Voting Rules Suit (1)

The Arizona Appeals Court has dismissed a Trump-aligned group’s challenges to voting rules in the swing state, finding there wasn’t standing to sue over drop boxes and other policies.

Strong Communities Foundation of Arizona, represented by the America First Legal Foundation, didn’t show any injury to its group or members from counties’ election policies necessary to allege they were unlawful. Without that skin in the game the case must be dismissed, Judge Anni Hill Foster said in her opinion Wednesday.
