The revocation of permit enabling ICE to build a temporary detainee facility in Howard County, Md., has drawn a real estate developer’s lawsuit.
Genesis GSA Strategic One LLC claims the suburban Baltimore county violated the US constitution and a federal civil rights law by backing off the project Feb. 2 after the county falsely claimed it learned only then “that ICE would occupy the building,” according to a complaint filed Wednesday at the US District Court for the District of Maryland.
