Country Club Sues Massachusetts City Over Stormwater Discharge

A Massachusetts country club sued the city of Westfield, Mass., over inadequate sewer system drainage that it says allowed polluted stormwater to discharge onto its public golf course.

Shaker Farms Inc. alleged in its complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts that uncontrolled stormwater discharges resulted in over 700 cubic yards of sediment erosion being deposited onto its property, harming the golf course and associated wetlands.
