Coty Agrees to Settle Makeup Sun-Protection Label Suit

Coty Inc. agreed to a settlement in a proposed class action alleging the company misled customers about the duration of sunscreen protection in its long-lasting foundation products.

Coty and Antoinette Meza executed a settlement agreement and plan to file a stipulation to dismiss the action on or before July 10, 2024—according to the notice of settlement filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
