The Corporation for Public Broadcasting ended its lawsuit challenging President Donald Trump’s attempt to fire board members following the corporation’s announcement that it will disband.
Judge Randolph D. Moss of the US District Court for the District of Columbia dismissed the suit Wednesday, according to a docket entry. The parties told the court in a Jan. 5 filing that the case is moot because CPB voted to formally dissolve, and because board member plaintiff Diane Kaplan resigned.
