Cookie delivery chain Insomnia Cookies LLC and parent Serve U Brands Inc. failed to pay managers overtime or provide delivery drivers with minimum wage, two new wage-and-hour suits allege.
The company promised its general managers overtime but didn’t follow through, according to a complaint filed Sunday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. Additionally tipped delivery drivers say they’re owed minimum wage because they spent more than 20% of their time on work where they couldn’t earn tips.
Insomnia Cookies didn’t immediately respond to a Monday request for comment on the suits.
