Converse Warehouse Workers’ Wage Case Revived in Part on Appeal

Converse Inc. distribution center workers won another look at some allegations after the Ninth Circuit on Wednesday partially overturned a lower court’s decisions in favor of the shoe company.

The district judge was wrong to deny class certification on wage-rounding claims and to grant Converse summary judgment on a worker’s individual rounding claim, but other summary judgment and certification rulings stand, the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit said in an unpublished opinion.
