Consumers can proceed as a class in litigation alleging electronics company Sunvalleytek International Inc. consistently failed to disclose that it paid for high product ratings and reviews on Amazon.com.
Californian David Oh, who bought three products based on positive reviews, said they turned out to be poorly made and of low quality. He sued in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
