Consumers Get Class Status in Camp Lejeune Firm Robo Call Suit

Consumers who received calls from a law firm seeking claimants in the Camp Lejeune toxic tort litigation received class status in their suit alleging the law firm violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

The consumers alleged their numbers were on the Do Not Call registry and that Principal Law Group LLC’s telemarketing service, MCM Hustle LLC, initiated calls to them anyway.

The US District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia on Tuesday granted the plaintiff’s motion for class certification. Class members will be ascertained through call records that have identified more than 1,000 calls forwarded to Principal Law. ...
