Construction Workers Get Class Status in Mass Layoff Suit

Former Pacific Rim Land Development LLC workers who sued the company over mass layoffs without adequate notice can proceed as a class, according to a court order.

The former employees met class certification requirements of numerosity, commonality, typicality, and adequacy, Judge Ramona V. Manglona of the US District Court for the Northern Mariana Islands said Friday.
