ConAgra Foods Inc. and class members are working towards a settlement to resolve allegations consumers were duped into overpaying for Wesson oil labeled as “natural” that contains genetically modified ingredients.
The parties asked the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California Nov. 9 to continue the stay on the case that has been in place while ConAgra appealed class certification (Briseno v. ConAgra Foods, Inc., C.D. Cal., No. 11-5379, stipulation filed 11/9/17).
