Roland Esparza alleged that Conagra’s butter-flavored PAM cooking spray contained diacetyl and other harmful flavor chemicals that created inhalation hazards. He said he developed the chronic lung disease bronchiolitis obliterans, also known as popcorn lung, from using the spray.
