Con Ed Supplier Wins Gas Permit Case in NJ Preservation Area

Environmental regulators had sufficient reason to approve development of a Con Edison supplier’s natural gas pumping station in New Jersey’s protected Highlands region, a state appeals court ruled Friday.

Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company LLC, a key supplier of Texas natural gas to Westchester County, New York, sought and was granted a permit within an exemption to New Jersey’s Highlands Water Protection and Planning Act.
