Company Sues Google Over Patent for Wireless Charging Technology

Google LLC‘s Pixel series smartphones infringe the patent that Electronic Edison Transmission Technologies LLC holds for a wireless power transfer device, a complaint filed in a federal court in Texas says.

Electronic Edison’s patent allows a mobile donor device that has ample battery power to transfer its power to a donor device that’s battery is low without using a power cord, the complaint says.
