A federal judge Friday released Colorado from a temporary restraining order preventing it from enforcing a law that prohibits offering abortion reversal treatment, after the state suspended its enforcement pending a rulemaking process.
“A preliminary injunction is not necessary, and therefore not appropriate, at this time because the defendants have represented to the Court that they are treating SB 23-190 as if it were not yet in effect and has not changed preexisting law,” Judge Daniel D. Domenico of the US District Court for the District of Colorado said.
